Are you a high school learner, matriculant, university student or young professional from Namibia or South Africa? Do you speak German at intermediate or advanced level (B1 or higher)? Are you interested in pursuing your professional education in Germany, with the option of working in Germany after the 3-year dual vocational training? Then join the next round of our programme!
Application requirements:
- Fluent in German (minimum B1, i.e. advanced level)
- Completed high school with a national senior certificate/ matric or higher
- Citizen or resident of Namibia or South Africa (applications from other countries will be considered on a case-by-case basis)
- Age: 18-30, but applications from older participants can be considered as well
- Previous work experience and TVET/university studies or other qualifications are an asset.
NB: Please note that the German language requirement is non-negotiable! Advanced German language proficiency is a mandatory condition set by the German government and German companies to access the 3-year professional qualification (‘Ausbildung’), which is delivered exclusively in German.

About Namibia2Germany & SA2Germany
Our programme offers comprehensive support for German-speaking Namibian and South African high school graduates, students and young professionals, who want to pursue a 3-year ‘Ausbildung’ (dual vocational training) in Germany.
Selected programme participants will go through a 12-month preparatory coaching, training and mentorship programme which will help them find the right Ausbildung, support them in the application process, and prepare them for their move to Germany.
Participants will also be introduced to suitable German companies that offer Ausbildung programmes, and will receive intercultural training, as well as assistance with the visa application process.
