We are excited to announce that our Namibia2Germany programme has been selected for the ‘Challenge2024 – Test & Learn’ programme for the second time! This amazing initiative connects social start-ups with Germany-based welfare organizations to explore opportunities for collaboration and joint initiatives, and includes mentoring and personalized support for each match.
What is the Challenge2024?
Challenge2024 is a joint programme by Social Impact and ING Group and aims to connect social start-ups with Germany-based welfare organizations. By providing targeted and customized coaching and mentoring, and by pairing suitable social start-ups with potential partners in the welfare sector, the initiative provides a space to develop and test innovative projects and collaborations.
The programme runs from July 2024 to February 2025 and has already provided support in the form of a virtual workshop series, as well as the matching with suitable partner organizations. We are very excited to participate in this programme for the second time this year, which will allow us to expand our Namibia2Germany partner network in the welfare sector even further.
This will enable us to offer vocational training opportunities for German-speaking Namibians who wish to train as a nurse, in early childhood development, as a caretaker for people with disabilities, and in various other professions. After our first successful match with Diakonis last year, we look forward to another insightful and productive round of the programme, and to making new connections with suitable partners!
