What is SA2Germany?
The SA2Germany programme offers comprehensive support for German-speaking South African youth who want to pursue a 3-year ‘Ausbildung’ (dual vocational training) in Germany. The programme was launched in Namibia in 2023 and is going into its second round in 2024, expanding its reach to South Africa.
Selected programme participants go through a 12-month coaching, training and mentorship programme (delivered online) which helps them find the right Ausbildung and prepare them for the application process. Participants will also be introduced to suitable companies, and will receive intercultural training, as well as assistance with the visa application process.
Are you a high school learner, matriculant, university student or young professional from Namibia or South Africa? Do you speak German at intermediate or advanced level? Are you interested in pursuing your professional education in Germany, with the option of working in Germany after the 3-year dual vocational training? Then pre-register now to receive the latest updates about SA2Germany and get ready to submit your application for the next round of the programme in early 2025!
