Please tell us a bit about yourself!
I am ambitious, hard-working and self driven person. In my free time I like watching football and listening to music. I would like to have my own business one day, and be successful in growing and expanding it.
Which scholarships or fellowships have you received?
I received financial support from a private sponsor, which allowed me to complete my Bachelor’s degree.
How did you experience the Africademics Scholarship Ambassador Programme?
I would describe it as a fun and sometime challenging experience. It wasn’t always easy making time to keep up with the Ambassador training coursework, but Lena always tried to assist us. It was interesting to learn about the different scholarships and how to find the right funding opportunity for your mentee. My Scholarship Mentee is a really nice and hardworking person, who knows what she wants. I really enjoy working with her and I admire her commitment.
Why would you recommend the Scholarship Ambassador Programme to others?
Before joining Africademics, I didn’t know much about the scholarship search and application process but the programme has taught me the key things that need to be considered when applying for scholarships.
