Please tell us a bit about yourself!

I am a result-driven and innovative young man, an individual who believes in positive change and has the ability to maintain standards. In my free time I enjoy reading and listening to music. Obtaining a Ph.D. and working in an educational environment of higher learning as an administrator is my dream.

Which scholarships or fellowships have you received?

I have received several scholarships throughout my educational journey, starting with The President’s Prestigious Scholarship for Valedictorian, awarded by Cuttington University in 2010. In 2012 I received funding through the BHP Billiton Liberia Scholars Programme, followed by the Graduate Scholarship for the Least Developed Countries, awarded by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBITAK) in 2015.

How did you experience the Africademics Scholarship Ambassador Programme?

Contributing to the success of people who believe in education has always been my dream, which is why I applied for the Scholarship Ambassador Programme. As an international scholarship mentor, it was at first difficult to link with a mentee due to time differences. However, we soon started having very productive discussions.

My Scholarship Mentee is a young man who is determined and has the ability to succeed in any academic environment. Collectively, he was able to apply for few scholarships, and I am very happy that I could play a part in his journey!

Why would you recommend the Scholarship Ambassador Programme to others?

I would encourage other students and scholars to join the Scholarship Ambassador Programme because it guides students in finding and applying for the right scholarship.
