We have partnered with the Welcome Center TechnologieRegion Karlsruhe, funded by the Ministry of Economics, Labor and Tourism. We are excited to have them on board as a networking partner for our Namibia2Germany programme and look forward to placing our first Namibian trainees in companies in and around Karlsruhe next year!
Our Partnership
With the support of the dedicated and professional team at the Welcome Centre we will explore new partnerships with companies and vocational training centres in the greater Karlsruhe region. The Welcome Center also assists with a range of other support services for international trainees and skilled workers, including:
- Assistance with the recognition of international professional qualifications
- Resources and information about housing, insurance, mobility, further training, etc.
- Information about learning German in the Karlsruhe region
- Intercultural training tailored to the needs of companies and international talent
- Networking and integration opportunities for trainees from abroad
About the Welcome Center Technologie Region Karlsruhe
The Welcome Center TRK plays an important role in securing the supply of skilled workers and acts as a contact point for skilled workers from abroad, as well as for companies, research and scientific institutions and municipalities in the Karlsruhe region.
The dedicated and professional staff at the Welcome Center are on hand to help international professionals and trainees with questions relating to their job search, arrival, integration, visa application, and everyday life in Germany. The Welcome Center TRK acts as a guide and works closely with many local, regional and international partners from business, politics and institutions.
