Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first scholarship webinar with the African Federation of Optometry Students (AFOS) on 10 September 2024!
We had a full house with over 70 Optometry students, graduates, interns and practitioners from across Africa and beyond, and it was wonderful to engage with them, share insights and information, and discuss ideas for collaborative projects.
A special thank you goes to our Scholarship Ambassador Dr. Uchechukwu Osuagwu who initiated this new collaboration, as well as to Ijeoma Judith Nwokorie, Nathaniel Amoabeng and the rest of the AFOS team for facilitating the webinar.
We look forward to expanding this new collaboration with AFOS, and to joining forces in assisting Optometry students and graduates in accessing scholarships and educational opportunities!
