Our founder and director, Lena Gronbach, was invited for an interview by Namibia’s German-speaking radio station Hitradio Namibia last week!
Hitradio Namibia is Namibia’s first private German language radio station in the country and has been broadcasting from their studio in Windhoek since 2012. In addition to German music the station regularly broadcasts news and stories covering Namibia, Germany and Southern Africa. They also produce the ‘Namibia hören’ podcast which publishes new episodes every second week.
Listeners from across Namibia, as well as globally, can enjoy their daily dose of German content and music via the station’s regular programme in Namibia, as well as through the live stream on their website.
The recording of our interview – in which we also cover high school study abroad opportunities offered by Youth for Understanding – will be shared here shortly!
