Please tell us a bit about yourself!
I am a translator, human resources assistant and plant assistant. In my free time I enjoy reading and watching videos for educational purposes. My plans for the future include becoming a certified accountant and translator.
Which scholarships or fellowships have you received?
I have been a recipient of the Confucius scholarship, which funds a Chinese language and culture programme and takes place at Renmin University of China, located in Beijing, China.
How did you experience the Africademics Scholarship Ambassador Programme?
I wanted to become a Scholarship Ambassador so that I may help my fellow Africans in their scholarship journey. I am now able to do this by obtaining information and giving them education on how to find and apply for scholarships.
The program was well designed, informative and, most of all, educational. I had a great experience with my mentee, and we became friends. Even after we completed our mentoring phase we still chat and keep in touch.
Why would you recommend the Scholarship Ambassador Programme to others?
Being an Ambassador gives you an opportunity to meet new people and interact with individuals from different cultures, countries and ways of life.
How can Africademics community members get in touch with you?
