Please tell us a bit about yourself!
I am a creative and responsible person who values teamwork and is passionate about leadership. My hobbies include football, reading and travelling and my career goal is to work with an organization like the FAO, developing water and irrigation systems in an international environment.
Which scholarships or fellowships have you received?
I am currently a recipient of the USAID Scholarship, awarded through the Alexandria Water Resilience-Center of Excellence AWR-COE, which funds my Master’s studies. Earlier this year I also received funding to participate in an international workshop on ‘The Sensing Applications for Field Evaluation of Irrigated Agriculture’, which took place at Utah State University in the United States of America.
How did you experience the Africademics Scholarship Ambassador Programme?
I applied for the programme because I believe that everyone deserves a chance to achieve their dream through a high quality education, and I love to help others in pursuing their goals. The 5-month Ambassador training programme was a great journey as it helped me to develop my abilities, and to better understand funding opportunities and scholarships.
