Please tell us a bit about yourself!
I am a fast learner, like to explore and I love volunteering. I also mentor and love to be mentored. In my free time I love to go swimming and to watch movies. My career goal is to become the CEO of a non-profit organization that provides excellent education access to Ghanaian youth.
Which scholarship(s) have you received?
I received several scholarships during my undergraduate studies, which helped me complete my degree. In 2019 I received a bursary from KNUST, followed by the Kingdom Books bursary in 2020 and the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat District scholarship in 2021 and 2022.
How did you experience the Africademics Scholarship Ambassador Programme?
I applied for the programme because I love mentoring and also helping others with my time and knowledge. During the 5-month Ambassador training programme I learnt a lot about scholarship applications and also how to manage others in a mentoring relationship. I have since been able to support my first Scholarship Mentee in her journey, and guide her through creating a compelling CV. We have been exploring different scholarship options for her and I hope that she will be successful in at least one of her applications!
Why would you recommend the Scholarship Ambassador Programme?
The programme will benefit you in your personal and professional development and enables you to support others as well, which is very rewarding and gratifying!
