We are excited to announce that our Namibia2Germany programme has been selected for the ‘Challenge2023 – Test & Learn’ programme! This project connects social start-ups with Germany-based welfare organizations to explore opportunities for collaboration and joint initiatives, and includes mentoring and personalized support for each match.
What is Challenge2023?
Challenge2023 is a joint project by Social Impact and ING Group and aims to connect social start-ups with Germany-based welfare organizations. By providing targeted and customized coaching and mentoring, and by pairing suitable social start-ups with potential partners in the welfare sector, the initiative provides a space to develop and test joint projects and services.
The programme runs from July 2023 to February 2024 and has already provided support in the form of a virtual workshop series, as well as the matching with suitable partner organizations. We are very excited to participate in this programme, which will allow us to expand our Namibia2Germany programme to the welfare sector, and to offer vocational training opportunities for German-speaking Namibians who wish to train as a nurse or in a similar profession.
