Meet the Namibia2Germany team: Lena Gronbach, Founder of Africademics and Project Manager of the Namibia2Germany programme!
Lena founded Africademics in 2019 and has been the driving force behind various educational programmes for youth in and from Africa ever since. With a background in intercultural exchange, business management and academic research, she has a passion for connecting people and opportunities – which is what Namibia2Germany is all about.
Lena holds degrees in International Business and Development Studies from ESB Business School (Reutlingen University) in Germany, as well as from the University of South Africa and the University of Pretoria. She is currently completing her PhD at the University of Cape Town and promotes intercultural understanding in her role as National Director of Youth for Understanding South Africa, an international high school exchange organization.
