Are you struggling to find a scholarship? Have you been applying for funding and it’s just not working out? Are you frustrated or demotivated, and perhaps even close to giving up? Or have you secured a scholarship and are now facing new challenges related to postgraduate studies, living abroad, or the pressure of working in academia? We’ve got you!
Address your Scholarship Challenges with Positive Psychology!
Our new online course will help you address some of the most common challenges encountered during your studies, or in the process of finding and applying for scholarships. It is based on the results of a survey among our Africademics community members, which we conducted earlier this year, and which identified the most pressing challenges faced by scholarship seekers and applicants.
Our new course, titled ‘Addressing your Scholarship Challenges with Positive Psychology’ introduces tools and concepts from the field of Positive Psychology to help you identify and address the challenges you may be facing. It also contains additional resources and exercises that will help you lead a happier and more balanced life.
To access the course, all you need to do is create a free account on our online learning and community platform, where you can also find additional resources for scholarship seekers and applicants. The course is available for free and you can create your account and access it via the link below:
The course was developed by our Positive Psychology team, consisting of our intern Bernice, and our Head of Positive Psychology, Laura. Both of them completed their Master’s degree in Positive Psychology at the University of Tilburg in the Netherlands and are passionate about supporting scholarship seekers, students and early-career scholars in and from Africa in their personal and professional journey.
