Namibia2Germany offers a comprehensive 12-month coaching and mentoring programme, which will guide and advise you throughout the preparation and application process for your 3-year dual vocational training programme with a German company.
The next round of the programme will start in July (applications will open in January) and consist of four modules, each of which focuses on a particular aspect of the preparation and application process. For further information about the course content and timeline, click here!
What do the programme fees include?
The full fee for the 12-month programme amounts to NAD 15,000, payable in monthly instalments and with flexible cancellation terms. The fee includes the following:
- Weekly live online workshops and lectures preparing you for your Ausbildung in Germany
- Access to our online learning platform where all session recordings and additional resources are shared
- Access to our mailing list and WhatsApp group for participants
- Our weekly German language resources to help you practice your German
- One personal career coaching session with our German career coach Thorsten Loffler
- Access to the online info evenings with our German partner companies in which they introduce their Ausbildung opportunities
- Personal assistance with the creation of your German application documents (CV, motivation letter, certificates)
- Several application workshops and interview training sessions with professional HR teams
- Assistance with the translation of your Namibian certificates into German
- Contacts to our partner companies where you can apply for Ausbildung placements
- Assistance with your Ausbildung contract, if you successfully secure a placement
- Assistance with the visa application and travel preparations
- Cultural and practical preparation for your move to Germany
- Access to our alumni network in Germany
What are the payment terms and options?
There are two available payment options for the Namibia2Germany programme:
- Option 1: Participants can settle their fees on a monthly basis, in which case the amount of NAD 1,200 is payable in advance of each month, i.e. by the last day of the previous month.
- Option 2: Alternatively, participants can settle the full programme fee at the beginning of the course, in which case they will receive a discount of NAD 2,000 on the total programme fee. If this option is chosen, the full course fee amounts to NAD 13,000, payable prior to the start of the programme.
Please note that Africademics is registered in Germany, and that programme fee payments must be made either into our German bank account, or via PayPal. There is no domestic payment option in Namibia or South Africa, due to the fact that it is not possible for organizations registered in other countries to open a bank account in these countries.
We strongly encourage Namibia2Germany participants to register with PayPal Namibia or PayPal South Africa, as this is a safe, convenient and affordable way to settle your programme fees.
Can I apply for financial support?
A limited number of partial scholarships will be available for deserving and financially disadvantaged participants. The scholarship application process will take place after the initial application round for the Namibia2Germany programme.
Please note that only applicants who meet the following criteria are eligible for partial scholarship funding:
- You have completed your B1 German language certificate (or higher) within the past 1-2 years
- You are committed to reaching level B2 and passing the Goethe language exam by November 2026
- You hold a high school certificate (NSSC, IGCSE, AS levels or similar) with good grades (C average or higher)
Applicants will be asked to submit a motivation letter and demonstrate their financial need through appropriate documentation. Please note that scholarship funding is subject to availability, and that only a limited number of participants will be awarded partial scholarships.
